Description

Fast gravel is fun gravel. The bike of choice for Giant gravel racing pros, this superlight speedster delivers a smooth ride over rugged roads, and is adaptable to all types of conditions and riding styles.

Lightweight efficiency: Advanced composite frame and Advanced SL composite fork save a combined 200g compared to previous generation. Updated geometry includes a lower bottom bracket, longer reach, and steeper head tube angle for improved acceleration and climbing.

Tuned compliance: A lowered seatstay junction with smaller diameter tubes absorbs road shocks and vibrations. The D-Fuse seatpost work as a system to optimise compliance without sacrificing stiffness while cornering, sprinting and climbing.

Adaptable to the terrain: A flip chip on the rear dropout adjusts the wheelbase short for quicker handling, or long for improved stability at speed. The long setting also allows for larger diameter tyres up to 53mm. You can choose the included D-Fuse seatpost for maximum complianc

Technologies

  • Advanced Composite Technology: Giant's High Performance Grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in our own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle of these framesets is assembled and molded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
  • Advanced SL Composite Technology: Professional Grade raw carbon fiber is woven in our composite factory to produce our lightest, stiffest and highest quality frames. This is the technology used by Giant's pro racers in almost every cycling discipline.
  • D Fuse Technology: The D-Fuse seatpost was designed to function as a system, absorbing road shocks and vibrations so you can ride farther, faster.
  • Over Drive: Giant's original oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system's oversized headset bearings (1 1/4" lower and 1 1/8" upper for road, 1 1/2" lower and 1 1/8" upper for mountain) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
  • Flip Chip Dropout: Allows riders to quickly adjust the geometry and rear-wheel tire clearance with eccentric, offset two-position hardware in the rear wheel dropouts.

Condition

The frame is brand new and has never been used.  Groupset and wheels may have some imperfections as they are used. Mechanically, it functions perfectly with smooth gear shifts and responsive brakes.  Bearings smooth all round.

Teaching Hermeneutics Made Easier!
Format: Hardcover
As a Bible teacher, the students in my class are relating to the material quite easily. This text book is far better than my "old hermeneutics textbook"! I wish I had this text book back when I was in school.

Breaking it down
Format: Hardcover
The authors do an excellent job of breaking the Bible down and explaining it in a way I have not read before. It is sectioned out starting with Genesis and rolling through the books breaking down the main points of each one. It displays how each builds on each other and uses a unique approach to categorizing each book or books.

Very appropriate level of detail
Format: Paperback
New to orthopedics? This book is a must have! The pictures are simple, yet contain enough detail to learn information needed to perform at a professional level. The book does a great job at stepping through the anatomy. It hits all the major conditions and does so in a way that is very easy to understand and retain. Highly recommend this book!

Concise, broad, and conceptual overview
Format: Paperback
I read this book before my first Orthopaedic rotation as a fourth year medical student and it was a superb introduction to Orthopaedic Surgery. It is very concise and well written, and introduces key concepts and fundamental principles of Orthopaedics. As most medical students know, the best learning on clerkships comes from reading about clinical situations as they come up in real life. That said, its always helpful to have a brief introduction to the field before beginning a rotation and I thought this book had the breadth and focus on concepts to be a perfect introductory read since my medical school has little to no coverage of common MSK conditions in the curriculum. More depth can always be found on Orthobullets and in textbooks and the primary literature, but it's helpful to have a broad overview to start out.

Amazing review but falls short in comprehensiveness
Format: Paperback
Felt lost while going into Ortho Sub-Is, but this book was a great quick review before going into them. It served well to give context to the field, but definitely not enough for a thorough review for sub-Is. If you are not in medical school, this book might be more apt for you. Overall, love the cartoon and definitely helped me some questions right on intense pimp sessions.
